If you mount a Wolfbox using the OEM straps, not only does it feel cheap but your view out the front dash cam can be blocked by the sensor cluster. The new Owl Offset mount moves the Wolfbox to the left to allow for a clear view out the front. Additionally it is made from machined billet aluminum and looks stunning.
The bracket fully replaces the factory mirror setup and mounts directly to the OEM European windshield block (octagon shaped). Be sure to watch the installation video for the mounting technique. There is a simple trick that makes the process easy.
And because we can never leave well enough alone, we added a 20 mm ball mount as well. This allows you to mount additional accessories such as a phone holder, radar detector, grandma...okay, maybe not grandma. Knowing our customers, we are confident our innovative customers will come up with some brilliant uses.
The mount is anodized in a dark gunmetal finish that blends beautifully with the Sprinter cockpit while still looking purposeful and premium.
Note: The mount does not include the factory spring clip. You must transfer the spring clip from your factory mirror to the Offset Mounting Arm. Some cargo vans ship without a mirror at all. If your van did not come with a mirror you will need to source a spring clip. Unfortunately we have not been able to find a supplier willing to sell the clip by itself, so harvesting one from a factory mirror is currently the most affordable option if you do not already have one.
- Top Cable Cover Cap sold separately
- Spring Clip - Most customers can reuse the spring clip from their OEM mirror. If you do not have an OEM mirror you need to order Mercedes part number: 910-810-05-03-7C45
Offset Wolfbox Mounting Arm for Sprinter
Introducing the Owl Wolfbox Wire Cap. A small part that makes a big difference.
This cap fits over the top of your Wolfbox mirror and bolts directly to the Owl Wolfbox Mount. It neatly hides all of the input wires running into the top of the mirror so your install looks clean and finished again. No more messy wiring sitting in plain sight.
Mercedes Sprinter, Winnebago Revel, Storyteller Overland, Tiffin GH1, Thor Sanctuary & Tranquility, Jayco Terrain, Airstream
