Yes, all of our bumpers are manufactured with winch cradles, low-profile mounts, and recovery points, allowing you to install a winch providing 12,000 to 13,500 lbs. of strength for towing off-road, 4x4, and other overland vehicles.

To add this capability, outfit any Owl Sprinter bumper with the Superwinch, a waterproof, ergonomic recovery system featuring an 80-foot synthetic rope and three-stage planetary gearing, or the Mojab, offering a 7.2HP motor and an 82-foot synthetic rope for quiet, lightweight operation.
What's the difference between the Pismo and ADAX bumper?

The Adax Pro bumper pairs steel construction with a lightweight aluminum shell to reduce weight, while the Pismo features a low-profile design made from heavy-duty steel.

These high-clearance front bumpers, however, provide similar functionality, including winch compatibility up to 13,500 lbs., integrated recovery points, airflow for engine cooling, and support for OEM sensors and camera systems. Do Sprinter bumpers affect ground clearance or approach angle?

Yes, a higher profile for the front and rear offers greater ground clearance for navigating rough terrain, and a slimmer side profile positioned closer to the grills limits snags and tearing during tight, sharp turns. With these upgrades, your bumper traps less dirt, sand, and debris, won’t hinder tire movement, and is less likely to drag or get caught on rocks and sharp edges.
Are these bumpers street legal in all states?

Yes, as long as the bumper is proportional to the vehicle type and class, has no protruding edges, and maintains critical vehicle safety functions, like sensors, navigation lights, and parking features.

Some states are stricter than others, however. Before purchasing an overland bumper, review the regulations for winch mounts, brush guards, bull bars, ground clearance, and license plate placement for your home state and anywhere you intend to travel.
Can I install a Sprinter bumper myself?
