iDash Pro reports data your dashboard filters out. Be it engine coolant, transmission temperature, or even vehicle speed; oftentimes these are inaccurate or vague values. When you're towing up a grade, your vehicle's ECM could be on the edge of reducing power due to high temps but your factory dashboard won't alert you until it is too late. With iDash Pro®, you see real-time, unfiltered data.
Sensors For Every Engine
Add iDash sensors to display and record air density, pressures, temperatures, speeds, voltages, even ambient weather conditions. Add-ons include the Banks 4-Channel Analog module, 4-Channel Analog with Frequency module, 4-Channel Thermocouple module, AirMouse Ambient Weather Station, Wideband O2 module and more. Connect multiple modules for nearly unlimited sensor inputs.
Patented Air Density Measurements
iDash Pro® calculates Ambient Air Density, Boost Air Density, and Manifold Air Density using OBD-II sensor data or supplemental data from Banks sensors. This data is the ultimate tool to evaluate power, efficiency, and effectiveness of a particular component, system, or entire engine.
Air Density measurements are exclusive to the Banks iDash Pro. U.S. Patent # 7,254,477 B1 and 7,593,808 B2.
Alerts
Create a bright visual alert for any parameter, even if the parameter is not present on the screen. All too often, vehicle manufacturers set dashboard warnings too high. By the time the engine light illuminates, damage may have already occurred. Your custom iDash Pro alerts will warn you long before it becomes a problem.
Minimum/Maximum Values
Record minimum/maximum values for any parameter. Think of these like a running high score on a video game. What was the highest coolant temperature or boost pressure you reached on that last uphill trip? Setting min/max values allows you to recall the highest and lowest reading for any parameter.
Vehicle Diagnostics
Check and clear vehicle codes without a scan tool or a costly trip to the dealership. Ready for a smog check? iDash Pro will let you know when emissions monitors are ready to be checked.
