Larger Tread Plate Design

Ease of getting in and out of your van is paramount. That's why we designed an optional oversized tread plate. Our tread plate adds an upturned lip and greater width right where you exit the van. This upturned lip catches and holds your shoe while entering and exiting. While this always adds confidence, it is essential in wet conditions. As a bonus, we even designed a boot cleaner to scrape off dirt, mud, and snow before entering the van.

Design

The shape of our side steps was carefully considered to offer the optimal blend of function and protection. We went big with the front step, as it is the most used. Then, the side steps taper back toward the rear of the van. This tapered design allows the van to navigate tight terrain more easily and not get hung up on rocks, logs, etc. Additionally, we extended the driver's side tube all the way down the van to help protect the rocker of the van.

Pet Friendly

The most important aspect of pets using side steps is the gap between the step and the van. We minimized the gap to keep paws safe.

Tread Plate

Our tread plate adds an upturned lip and greater width right where you exit the van. This upturned lip catches and holds your shoe while entering and exiting. While this add confidence all the time, it is especially important in wet conditions.
