THE NEW OWL EKKO TETON EDITION $249,000 (financing available through Giant RV)
Limited Edition: Only 10 Ekko Teton Editions will be produced and only 1 remains, and once they’re gone, they’re gone. Each vehicle will feature a numbered plaque to highlight its exclusivity. Upgraded units are already in progress, and we’re now accepting deposits for delivery starting in January.
At Owl, we've always dreamed of building a Halo van-based vehicle; today, that dream has come true. Introducing the Owl Ekko Teton Edition — an adventure vehicle that redefines what's possible. We took a Winnebago Sprinter Ekko and transformed it into a trail-eating, family-of-four sleeping, choose-your-own-adventure rig.
This vehicle started as Owl-founder John's family Ekko. Given the response from our customers, we are offering a limited edition run of 10 vehicles. A common question he gets is, "If this was your vehicle, what would you do?" Well, it is his vehicle, and this is what he did.
Pushing the limits - We knew that building the Teton would require a super single-wheel set, allowing us to delete the dual rear wheels. Dual rear wheels substantially limit offroad performance due to limited tire size and their affinity for trapping rocks (causing sidewall puncture). Then, to get added ground clearance, we added a set of 35" trail tires. For this task, we built the new Talon SS wheels.
Suspension - Cool looks are nothing without the ability to tackle the toughest terrain. We added a full Van Compass 6.3 Lift with Adjustable piggyback shocks and the Opti-Rate heavy-duty spring pack. Then, because we couldn't leave well enough alone, we added a set of inverted Rally Struts. The results are mind-blowing. For an 11,000lb vehicle, this carves the canyons like a vehicle 1/3 its weight.
In addition to transforming the handling, the VC 6.3 also raises the Ekko about 4" over stock. The 6.3 is technically a 2" lift, but due to the weight of the Ekko sagging out the stock springs, it is actually a much bigger lift. Lifting the vehicles allows for larger tires which are critical for ground clearance.
Bumper and Recovery - When hitting the trail, our first goal is self-rescue preparation. While that may sound dramatic, getting off the grid means you have to have the right gear to get out of a sticky situation. The new Owl Ridgeline Max bumper is standard on the Ekko Teton. This full-coverage bumper is manufactured by AFN, one of the largest manufacturers of military bumpers and armor in the world. They know how to build rock-solid protection. With end-to-end coverage, you can hit the trail knowing you have the best possible protection against brush and animal strikes.
Added to the Ridgeline Max is a Warn 12,000lb winch with a Mojab Indexing billet fairlead. Winches are fundamental to off-grid travel and will rescue you or anyone you may come across. In addition to the winch, the Ridgeline Max has two recovery points attached to the frame rails of the Sprinter. These robust recovery points allow you to safely and efficiently recover a stranded vehicle.
Lighting - We love the bold, aggressive look of the Owl Ekko Teton Edition, and we knew that the right lighting setup was key to enhancing it's capabilities. At Owl, we're not fans of over-the-top lighting systems that might look better at the mall than on the trail. Instead, we opted for one of the finest lighting brands we know: Triple-R. Designed and manufactured in the UK, Triple-R lights are unparalleled in quality, offering both exceptional performance and durability.
For the Teton, we chose the Triple-R Elite Grille Light Kit, which integrates seamlessly into the factory grille of the Sprinter. This system not only provides a sleek, sophisticated OEM look but also delivers an impressive increase in lumens without the clutter of bulky external lights.
Additionally, the Ridgeline Max bumper comes equipped with its own lighting, including integrated DRLs (Daytime Running Lights) and high-output fog lights. Together, these lighting systems significantly enhance the Teton’s already formidable light output, ensuring you have the visibility and style you need, no matter where the trail takes you.
Timberline Heater Upgrade - When it comes to heating adventure vans, diesel heaters are the gold standard — efficient, reliable, and powerful. While the stock Ekko comes equipped with an RV propane heater, propane is outdated, expensive, and a hassle to refill. Since your Sprinter already has a diesel tank, it only makes sense to simplify by using that same fuel source for heating.
We’ve completely replaced the Ekko’s propane system with the Timberline Diesel Heater, a cutting-edge solution that’s both more powerful and easier to use. With its advanced interface, higher BTU output, and the convenience of drawing from your existing diesel tank, Timberline offers superior efficiency and reliability. No more special fuel or refills — just hassle-free warmth wherever your adventure takes you.
Exhaust: The stock exhaust on the Ekko runs just in front of the rear tire, leaving it exposed and vulnerable to damage, especially when navigating off-road terrain. To solve this, we’ve rerouted the exhaust to run behind the rear tire and tucked it close to the vehicle’s body, providing better protection from rocks and debris. This relocation safeguards the system and gives the vehicle a cleaner, more finished look. We topped it off with a durable stainless steel exhaust tip, ensuring your system stays sleek and functional for years for years.
Carriers - Owl was founded on its innovative designs for rear carriers. The Ladder + Tire Carrier and the B2 have become icons of the adventure van industry. Now we want to bring that same function and obsessive engineering to the Ekko Teton. Each Ekko Teton will come with the world's first rear door carriers for Ekko. This new system will combine Owl's industry-leading aluminum tubular carriers and new technology to adapt to the unique structure of the Ekko. The system starts with a rock-solid steel bumper that mounts to the frame rails of the Ekko, not mounted to the foam box like the stock bumper. This overbuilt 3/16" steel mounting structure provides the platform on which Owl's new system is built. This system will include a modular panel (similar to the B2 Pro) for mounting a spare tire or a gear box (Tetons will come with a full-size spare). On the passenger side of the rear system, we have Owl's signature tubular ladder with mounting panels. Both will add critical function and gear carrying capabilities to the Ekko. *This system is still in development so pictures are coming soon. Suffice to say, it's going to look amazing!
Roof Rack - Our custom Owl Teton Roof Rack is also in development. It is designed to enhance the look and functionality of the stock rack. The system will include laser-cut plates that run around the entire roof, providing a solid foundation for additional lighting above the cab, if desired.
Note: Photos coming soon.
Styling - The base Ekko is an exceptional platform, with its efficient use of space and great design. However, in its stock form, it has more of a "grandma’s RV" vibe than the rugged, trail-ready vehicle we had in mind. Once we had added trail functionality, it was time to enhance the form.
For the Teton, we designed a custom full-body wrap featuring earth tones, topographical map patterns, and a silhouette tree line. The result is a bold, standout look on the road, while blending seamlessly with the natural environment when you're off-grid.
This distinctive wrap is exclusive to the Ekko Teton Edition, and we’ve even copyrighted it, so you won’t find it anywhere else.
Cab Step - We replaced the factory step with Owl’s Tubular Cab Step, which enhances the overall look of the Ekko Teton while maintaining the same ground clearance. The lower step height sets it apart, making it easier to access the vehicle without sacrificing off-road capability.
Colors - We wanted to give customers some options while preserving the Teton's unique identity. To that end, we’re offering the custom wrap in three distinctive colorways: OD Green, Ocean Blue, and Gunmetal Gray. Each color maintains the same core design, with slight earth tone variations to match your aesthetic and style.
Long Range Tank and Filler Nozzle - We’ve upgraded the stock 23-gallon diesel tank to a 45-gallon long-range tank, a crucial upgrade for anyone serious about off-grid adventures. Extended-range tanks are one of our favorite Sprinter modifications, and we knew it was a must-have for the Teton. Whether you want to extend your range off the beaten path or improve highway efficiency, this upgrade offers significant benefits.
In addition to the larger tank, we also installed a larger OEM fuel nozzle, which is standard on Sprinters in other parts of the world. This allows you to use international diesel pumps (such as those in Mexico and Canada) and high-flow pumps at truck stops, making refueling faster and more convenient.
What began as a passion project has become a defining step in Owl’s evolution of adventure. We are thrilled to see the same excitement and enthusiasm for this build that we felt during its creation. Introducing the Ekko Teton Edition—a vehicle designed to help you venture farther, stay longer, and bring the whole family along for the journey.
We hope you love this project as much as we’ve loved bringing it to life!

Canceled Orders
We want all customers to be happy with their purchases but in the event of a canceled order, we cannot recoup the fees charged to us by the credit card companies. When an order is placed, the credit card company takes a percentage of the sale, typically 5%-6% This is money that DOES NOT go to us and we do not get this charge given back to us when we refund an order. Therefore, if someone buys a suspension and then cancels, we pay the credit card company several hundreds of dollars that we cannot get back. Although you may not have noticed, it is industry standard for larger dollar items to have a "restocking fee" of 15% or more. We do our best to charge exactly what we get charged by the credit card company when you cancel an order. In the event of a canceled order, the 5%-6% that the credit card company charges us cannot be refunded. Please make note of this before you order.
• All canceled orders over $1000 paid with a "Credit Card" will have a 5% credit card processing fee that cannot be returned.
• All canceled orders over $1000 paid with a "Shop Pay Installments" will have a 6% credit card processing fee that cannot be returned.
