Controller (Phoenix, AZ)

Owl Vans, is recruiting for a Controller to manage the company's financial accounting records, accounting controls, and tax filings. This is a chance to get in on a ground floor of a rapidly growing startup in the Adventure Van Industry.

Familiarity with QuickBooks or Net Suite a plus. Having managed or worked in an accounting group for 2-3 years is preferred. The position is located at our company headquarters in Mesa, AZ. The position would be reporting to one of the founders and acting CFO.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain compliance with government agencies
  • Act as the point of contact for external auditors and tax accountants
  • Maintain internal books and finances Analyze financial transactions
  • Establish and monitor accounting controls

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or 5 - 7 years of related experience
  • Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills.
  • Excel proficiency.
