Convenient Operation

Included with our 15000 BTU RV air conditioner is a handy wireless remote control, which allows you to control every function of your unit with a simple press of a button. You won't even have to get out of your chair! Of course, you can also use the convenient digital touch controls on the inner plenum unit. The wireless remote lets you control the temperature settings of the AC, so you will not need a new thermostat. *NOTE: This unit is NOT compatible with other types of motorhome thermostats. It is designed for use with the remote and inner plenum unit only.*

More Modes and Functions

At RecPro, we are experts in utility, and our low-profile 15000 BTU RV air conditioner reflects that with its long list of modes and functions. Some of these modes and functions include Cooling, Sleep, Timing, and Dry Mode. Dry mode runs the fan at a higher speed, cycling more air through your rig and allowing moisture to collect on the coils before draining through to drain holes. Our 15k RV air conditioner has a temperature monitoring system that senses the temperature of the surrounding air and adjusts to accommodate whatever temperature you've set it to, keeping you comfortable even through the night.

Low Amp Draw

The RecPro 15000 BTU RV air conditioner is not only engineered for durability and performance but for efficiency as well. Our RV AC unit has a startup and maximum amp draw of 16 amps, with running amps for cooling at 14 amps and running amps for heating at 12 amps. The low amp draw on this model enables it to not only keep your energy use lower than other models but also allows you to use more than just the AC unit or large RV appliance at one time. Saving you power and frustration, it's definitely the best model for energy efficiency.

Efficient Heating

Who says an air conditioner can't keep you warm too? Our air conditioner uses an efficient heat pump to efficiently and effectively heat your air even at higher fan speeds, unlike other models that may use an inefficient heat strip. A Whisper Quiet RV Air Conditioner

Perhaps the most important feature of our 15k RV air conditioner is the low noise level. Many models that come with your RV are loud and obnoxious. Even most aftermarket AC units can be loud enough for you to notice it. This model, however, only produces 59.1 decibels of sound on its highest setting. For reference, that's about as loud as a gentle rain. With our whisper-quiet RV AC, you can relax in your RV, have a conversation, or watch your movie without disturbance.

Ducted and Non-Ducted Options

We know how important variety is to our customers, which is why our air conditioner is available as a ducted or non-ducted unit. The ducted version measures 13-11/16" high by 26-3/4" wide by 39-5/16" long for the outside unit and 2 1/2" high by 21" wide by 22" long for the inner plenum ceiling assembly unit, and weighs about 80 pounds. The ducted version of our 15000 BTU camper air conditioner will also work with any pre-existing ducts on your camper.

The non-ducted version measures 26 3/4" wide by 39 5/16" long by 13 11/16" high on the outside of your RV and 21" wide by 22" long by 2 1/2" high on the inside ceiling assembly. This AC unit can fit roofs up to a maximum of 5 1/2" thick, with optional bolts available for roofs thicker than 3 3/8" thick and up to 7 3/32" thick. 

The fan on the heat pump for both versions is controlled through a temperature sensor near the evaporator coils. Unless this sensor reads temperatures below 64°F, the fan will run at a low speed. This is necessary to modulate power consumption and keep up efficiency.

Both versions are available in black or white and feature a removable screen filter in the ceiling assembly that can be cleaned and replaced. Just make sure that when you do replace it, the screen is dry.
