Owl worked directly with the engineers are Renntech to develop this proprietary ECU upgrade that offers significant gains in both power and torque without sacrificing daily driver reliability. This maximizes the already capable Sprinter’s ability to transport large cargo or tow large loads without degrading performance.

Please know that we cannot ship the Renntech products without programming them first.

Owl has worked closely with Renntech to not only add performance but also increasing engine efficiency and maintain all emissions systems on the vans. This means that you can gain performance while taking care of the environment. Renntech and Owl are presently in the process of gaining CARB approval on the tune. While Owl and Renntech have engineered this tune to maintain all emissions system, it is the customer's responsibility to understand your local laws and restrictions.

**Product is for off-road use only in California until we are finished with CARB testing. Note, we have done independent testing and the tune does not increase tailpipe emissions**

Tuning is available for Mercedes Sprinter, Freightliner, Dodge, and Airstream Vans equipped with the 3.0L V6 Diesel Engine. 

  • Includes HHT which allows you to tune and set back to stock without a trace as many times as you want

  • All Stereo and remote starters/auto-starters such as MidCity must be unplugged or disconnected prior to attempting to install the tune. FYI Storyteller Beast Modes have a Midcity auto-start that needs to be disconnected during installation.

  • Works with Pedal Box (after Renntech install, re-perform the “perfect tune” on the pedal box, or install the pedal box after the tune)

  • Please supply VIN for Owl to tune the HHT to your specific vehicle

* No returns on Renntech Tuners. Due to the nature of installing a tune, any return or refunds would be at the sole discretion of Renntech. Returns on tunes are only accepted in situations where there is a problem that is unable to be resolved.

*Note - If your van is equipped with remote start equipment, you may need to unplug that remote start equipment to properly load the tune. We recommend installing at home and not before a big trip so that if there are any issues with the installation you are not at a remote location.

*HHT is specific to your VIN and cannot be used for multiple vehicles. The tune may affect warranty, emissions etc. Please research your local laws before purchase. This tune may not be legal in all states. Increased power may lead to increased wear on motor and driveline components. Tune may impact the longevity of filters and emissions equipment. Any increased wear, cost, emissions equipment is the responsibility of the purchaser.

Canceled Orders

We want all customers to be happy with their purchases but in the event of a canceled order, we cannot recoup the fees charged to us by the credit card companies. When an order is placed, the credit card company takes a percentage of the sale, typically 5%-6% This is money that DOES NOT go to us and we do not get this charge given back to us when we refund an order. Therefore, if someone buys a suspension and then cancels, we pay the credit card company several hundreds of dollars that we cannot get back. Although you may not have noticed, it is industry standard for larger dollar items to have a "restocking fee" of 15% or more. We do our best to charge exactly what we get charged by the credit card company when you cancel an order. In the event of a canceled order, the 5%-6% that the credit card company charges us cannot be refunded. Please make note of this before you order. 

• All canceled orders over $1000 paid with a "Credit Card" will have a 5% credit card processing fee that cannot be returned.

• All canceled orders over $1000 paid with a "Shop Pay Installments" will have a 6% credit card processing fee that cannot be returned.
