That’s why we set out to develop a best-in-class INEOS suspension system that delivers on-road drivability, off-road capability, and improved ground clearance for the 2024+ INEOS Grenadier and Quartermaster.

Springs – Designed with Eibach

We partnered with our friends at Eibach Suspension (the OEM spring supplier for the Grenadier) to develop custom 4" Eibach lift springs. The goal? A spring that excels off-road while maintaining impressive on-road comfort and handling. Mission accomplished—we love the final result.

Our shocks are also designed to work seamlessly with the popular 2.5" Eibach lift kit. This is a great option for those who want to run larger tires and enjoy improved suspension performance—without committing to a full-height lift.

Shocks – Tuned by a Legend

Our shocks are custom-tuned for Owl by Dan Fresh, winner of the Baja 1000 and King of the Hammers. You can drive confidently knowing one of the world’s top off-road racers helped dial in this system.

We took Dan, our tech team, and our rigs to the holy land of off-roading: Moab, Utah. There, we created a test loop combining pavement, washboard, and technical rock crawling to fine-tune the shocks across every terrain. After days of testing and dialing in, we came away with performance that outclasses anything we’ve tested before.

Down-Travel - The Owl shocks have 10" of down-travel (Disconnnecting . Down travel refers to how far a wheel can drop below the chassis when the suspension extends. While lift kits often focus on raising a vehicle, it’s increased down travel that truly unlocks off-road performance. When navigating uneven terrain, added down travel allows your wheels to stay in contact with the ground longer. More tire contact means more traction, which equals more control and capability in technical sections.

• Improved Ride Quality
  Extended down travel gives the suspension more range to absorb dips and drop-offs, reducing the harsh jolts you’d normally feel. This results in a smoother, more composed ride—even on rough trails.

• More Suspension Articulation
  Added down travel increases overall articulation (how much each wheel can move independently). This helps keep your van stable and balanced, even when crossing obstacles or off-camber terrain.

• Reduces Bottoming Out
  By increasing travel in both directions (up and down), your suspension system has more room to work, reducing the chance of bottoming out or hitting bump stops too early.

• Greater Control at Higher Speeds
  With more down travel, your tires can track the terrain more effectively, especially at speed. That means less bouncing, better control, and more confidence when driving fast over variable surfaces like washboard or whoops.

Driveshafts – One of the key concerns when lifting a Grenadier is the angle of the front driveshaft. Our TrailFlo system has been extensively tested and works well with the factory front drive shaft. The key to avoiding any driveshaft issues is proper installation.

Note - Owl will only warranty driveshafts if it is installed by Owl or one of our approved dealers. How you support the driveshaft during installation is critical.

Bump Stops

Bump stops are exactly what they sound like—they provide the final cushion for your suspension as it compresses, preventing the axle from making contact with the frame. They’re a critical component in protecting your suspension system during off-road use.

We offer two bump stop sizes, based on your tire setup:

• 1.5" Bump Stop – Recommended for tire sizes 33" or smaller
• 2.0" Bump Stop – Required for tires larger than 33"
• If you do not increase the bump stop height, you risk contacting suspension or fender parts with your tires.

Larger Tires

Lifting the vehicle not only improves off-road capability—it also opens the door to larger tire fitments, which offer better ground clearance and improved performance over rough terrain.

• Maximum Tire Size: With our 4" lift kit and the 2.0" bump stop, the largest compatible tire size is 35"
• 33" or smaller tires - 1.5" Bumper stops recommended
• 33" or larger tires - 2.0 Bumper stop recommended
