The 2022 Revel Mode Rally was sure one for the books! With trail rides, an off-road driving course, educational classes, an off-the-charts happy hour hosted by Owl, on-site service A and B performed by Mercedes Benz, live music, vendors, and almost 200 vans in attendance. We were definitely in our happy place.
*Fun fact: our very first product, the Tire Carrier, made an appearance at the first Revel Van Rally in 2018 - before Owl had even hit the ground running.
The RMR schedule was packed full of classes on topics like suspension, 4x4 and low-range, keeping access to public lands, hands-on workshops by 4Wheel America and Warner Vans, lithium batteries, and how to change a tire, to name a few.
Many attendees spent the days hitting trails in the Moab desert, at local shops in town, attending classes, or visiting vendor booths. There were close to forty vendors in attendance this year (check out a list of vendors here). The nights were filled with drinks around the fire, karaoke, and endless adventure stories.
The event was capped off on Saturday night with live music from Jason Wallsmith and a raffle, with proceeds going to the Wounded Warrior Foundation. Owl was stoked to donate a brand new, unreleased product to the raffle - the Monster Box. We can’t wait to install this baby on its new owner’s van soon!
Our team always loves these events because it gives us a chance to sit down with the Adventure Van community that we have come to love so much.
After the event, our team took the opportunity to go on a few trail rides in Moab to capture content and put these vans to the test. Some of us got stuck in a gnarly hail and rain storm that made for some incredible views of the canyon afterwards.
